Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Stepdown or PCU settings
- Strong assessment, monitoring, and critical thinking skills
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive care to patients requiring stepdown and progressive monitoring
- Perform frequent assessments and respond swiftly to changes in patient status
- Implement physician orders, manage IVs, and administer medications with accuracy
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and ongoing care needs
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless transitions and discharge planning
