You’ll diagnose, fix, and prevent issues across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and more—keeping residents happy and the property running smoothly.What you’ll do
- Tackle routine maintenance and repairs in both occupied and vacant apartments.
- Work through service tickets promptly and document resolutions.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and household appliances.
- Own unit turns/make-readies so new residents move into polished spaces.
- Execute preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce downtime.
- Maintain grounds and common areas to uphold curb appeal and cleanliness.
- Respond to emergency calls and after-hours issues when needed.
- Complete all tasks following safety policies, codes, and best practices.
- Keep open, professional communication with residents and onsite leadership.
What you’ll bring
- Prior maintenance or related trade experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs.
- EPA certification preferred but not required.
- Comfort using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong troubleshooting instincts and methodical problem-solving.
- Reliable, punctual, and confident working independently.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
Preferred extras
- HVAC certification or Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
- Experience with maintenance tracking/CMMS software.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
