In this role, you will be responsible for assembling various pieces of wooden furniture, utilizing small hand tools, and sanding surfaces to ensure high-quality finished products.Responsibilities:
- Assemble wooden furniture components according to blueprints, diagrams, and work orders.
- Utilize a variety of small hand tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, and drills, to securely fasten parts together.
- Sand furniture surfaces to ensure a smooth finish, preparing them for the next stage of production.
- Inspect assembled furniture for quality, ensuring all pieces are correctly aligned and free from defects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Meet production goals and deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Lift and move furniture components weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Furniture assembly experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and diagrams.
- Proficiency in using basic hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to lift and move furniture components weighing up to 40/ 50 pounds.
