Qualifications

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills
  • Experience with monitoring, assessments, and complex care preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive care to patients transitioning from ICU-level to general medical care
  • Closely monitor patients’ vital signs and rapidly respond to changes in status
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient-centered care
  • Effectively educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery processes
  • Maintain detailed, accurate documentation in accordance with facility standards
