Multiple contract positions are available, offering both full-time and part-time options for experienced Special Education professionals.Current opportunities include full-time EC Resource Teacher roles, a CASE Teacher position specializing in communication and social engagement for students with autism, and a part-time EC Resource Teacher position working with young learners in a focused, supportive environment. All positions focus on the general curriculum, creating inclusive and engaging classrooms for diverse learners.Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current, active EC General Curriculum license (not adapted curriculum)
  • Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher within school environments
  • Comfort and experience working in resource, inclusion, or self-contained settings-especially for candidates seeking the CASE Teacher role with autism or maximum support needs
  • Ability to collaborate with general educators and support personnel
  • Understanding of compliance documentation and IEP writing preferred
  • Must be able to meet standard state and district credentialing requirements including licensure and background checks
  • For Silver Valley Elementary’s part-time opening: commitment to Monday-Thursday, 8:45 AM – 1:45 PM schedule and interest in K-2 grade levels

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction based on students’ IEPs while facilitating access to the general curriculum
  • Create an inclusive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
  • Maintain up-to-date student records and progress notes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and compliance activities
