Lexington, NC Area | Full-Time | Day ShiftA well-established clinical laboratory organization is seeking a Medical Technologist to join its team. This role is responsible for specimen processing, laboratory testing, and accurate reporting of results while supporting quality and operational efficiency in the lab.Schedule:
Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PMKey Responsibilities:Process and analyze patient specimens following laboratory protocolsPerform clinical testing and accurately interpret and report resultsMaintain competency across standard laboratory proceduresIdentify and resolve issues that could affect test performance or reportingPerform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshootingSupport QA/QC programs and ensure regulatory complianceAssist leadership with administrative tasks such as supply ordering and inventory managementMaintain adherence to laboratory safety standards and compliance policiesRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related scientific fieldASCP or AMT certification requiredContinuing education to maintain certificationPreferred:3+ years of clinical laboratory experienceInterested!?
