? Pay: $16.00 per hour
? Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PMA furniture manufacturing company in Thomasville is seeking a Mechanism Assembler. Will be assembling the mechanisms inside the recliners that makes the foot rest go up and down and the chair recline backwards and forwards.Chairs are electric.Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble the internal mechanisms used in electric recliners
• Install components that allow the footrest to extend and the chair to recline
• Use hand tools, including electric drills, to assemble parts
• Read and follow measurements using a tape measure
• Follow assembly instructions and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read and use a tape measure
• Must know how to safely operate a drill
• English or Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome to apply
• Ability to perform heavy lifting
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is a plus

Work Environment:

• Hot manufacturing/warehouse environment
• Comfortable clothing is permitted, including shorts and T-shirts
• Closed-toe shoes are required (no flip-flops or sandals)
