This position is ideal for a mechanically skilled individual who also excels in record-keeping and basic administrative functions.Youll spend approximately 70% of your time performing maintenance duties and 30% on administrative tasks, helping us ensure a well-maintained, safe, and efficient facility.Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on building systems, including HVAC (mechanical and electronic)
- Conduct general maintenance on facility infrastructure and equipment
- Assist with preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following all safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities, tasks, and repairs
- Continuously learn and apply company-specific systems and processes
Administrative Responsibilities
- Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting, inventory tracking, and team communications
- Navigate maintenance management systems and work order tracking tools
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of maintenance activities
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and ordering maintenance supplies as needed
Qualifications
- 23 years of hands-on experience in a general maintenance role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Proficiency with computers and administrative documentation
- Comfortable working at heights as needed
- OSHA 10 General Industry and First Aid Certification are a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Eagerness to grow in the maintenance field and adopt new systems or technologies
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Fast-paced industrial or commercial setting
- Occasional lifting and physical tasks required
- Must be comfortable working in both office and facility environments
