? 40 Hours Per WeekA local furniture manufacturer is looking for dependable, hardworking Furniture Packers/Boxers to join their production team!? JOB DUTIES:

• Build corrugated boxes from flat stacks using a clinching tool or tape
• Place furniture into boxes and add protective bags/materials
• Close and securely seal boxes
• Move boxes onto the conveyor
• Operate the strapping machine to securely strap boxes
• Read and apply the correct label to each box
• Load finished furniture onto trucks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

? IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand, walk, move, and lift throughout the entire shift
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
• Packers are expected to average approximately 60 pieces per day
• Good attendance is mandatory
• Must be dependable and committed to working the scheduled hours
• Must speak enough English to communicate with coworkers and supervisors
• Must be able to read labels to ensure the correct label is placed on the correct box

? PAY:

• Starting pay: $16.50/HR
• Once permanent, pay is based on knowledge, skill, and productivity
• Experienced Boxers can earn $17.00–$18.50/HR

?? This is a high-paced, physically demanding production position. Candidates must be prepared to be on their feet, moving and lifting furniture throughout the day.#LIND26

Expected salary: US$16.5 per hour
