  • Graduation from high school or GED
  • Three years of experience in municipal fire suppression
  • Experience as a fire apparatus operator in municipal department
  • Valid NC Class B driver’s license or valid out-of-state driver’s license with the ability to obtain a valid NC Class B driver’s license within sixty days of employment and good driving record
  • NC or IFSAC/ProBoard Emergency Vehicle Driver certification
  • NC or IFSAC/ProBoard Driver Operator Pumps and Aerials certification
  • NC or IFSAC/ProBoard Firefighter I and II certification
  • NC or IFSAC/ProBoard Hazardous Materials Operations certification

Work Schedule24 hours on 48 off rotating. 53 hours per week. Paid bi-weekly.Closing DateApplication and instructions are available .
