Job description: CT/Rad Tech Dual Modality● About Facility:o 1 Medical Center Blvd, Winston-Salem, NC 27157o 885 licensed bedso Level 1 Trauma Designationo Teaching Hospital: Yes, Academic Medical Centero Chest Pain Centero Stroke Center● Department Information:o Beds: 54o Imaging – Radiology 4; CT – 4 (Peds and Adult)o Census? Average patients/day? 200 patients per dayo Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years of CT experienceo Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes● Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:o Trauma/Strokes● Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver’s License and/or Insurance:o BLSo ARRT Certification RT(R)(CT)● Skills required:o CT and X-rayo Will set up machine for Fluoro – can be trained● Support within the Department:o Adult and PEDSo Leadership – 5 Senior staff● Technology/Equipment:o EMR: EPICo Department specific Equipment: CT/Fixed X-ray/Mobile x-ray▪ Siemens, GE, Cannon/RadPRO portables/mini-C-Arm● Floating: If yes, where?o CT department – ED only● Orientation (facility and unit):o Confirm with Cherylo Up to 5 days departmental – depends on experience● Scheduling:o Weekend rotation: none, but subject to changeo On call? If so, what is that schedule?
