Job description: What We Offer:Currently seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant, CNA for our Acute Palliative Care UnitLocation – Forsyth Medical Center, Winston Salem, NCShift – 7:00PM-7:00AM, Full-timeProvides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.Assisted Living units only: Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living as scheduled and reporting any change in status to the Charge Nurse. - Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Experience: 1 year, preferred. 1 year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
- Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program, required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required. Medication Safety – AME, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
- Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
